The Scent

This is the original 2019 Donna Born in Roma EDP, not the newer Extradose flanker also carried here, which swaps this fragrance's jasmine heart for a boozy rum accord and pushes the vanilla and sweetness up. The original opens with a tart, sparkling blackcurrant and pink pepper burst over bergamot, then settles into a real jasmine-dominant heart built from three jasmine materials layered together rather than a generic white-floral blend. The drydown is a warm, creamy bourbon vanilla and cashmeran base with guaiac wood underneath: a modern, slightly musky-sweet amber finish. Reviewers consistently place it as bolder and more of a statement than a typical designer floral.

Credited to perfumers Honorine Blanc-Hattab and Amandine Clerc-Marie, per WikiParfum; the same duo is separately confirmed on the 2023 Born in Roma Intense flanker. It launched alongside Valentino Uomo Born in Roma as the women’s half of the original couture-concept pairing.
