About Montblanc

Montblanc was founded in 1908 in Germany by a stationer, a banker, and an engineer, Claus-Johannes Voss, Alfred Nehemias, and August Eberstein, originally under the name Simplo Filler Pen Company. Their breakthrough was the Meisterstück fountain pen, first made in 1924 and still produced today. The fragrance line came much later, but it carries the same idea of craftsmanship and quiet status.
