The Scent
Bold and a little smoky sweet. Black pepper and pineapple open it up, then tobacco, coffee, and a warm vanilla amber base that lasts for hours. The fragrance community widely considers it one of the best affordable takes on Dior Sauvage Elixir, and plenty of people can't tell the two apart. A lot of presence for a little money. It runs strong, so go easy.
Worth Knowing
This one turned into a real TikTok moment, people started calling it the best Sauvage Elixir dupe out there, and some reviewers put it at around 85 percent of the real thing's DNA. A few longevity tests floating around even had it outlasting current bottles of the actual Sauvage Elixir. You also get a 100ml bottle instead of the Elixir's 60ml, for a fraction of the price.
Where It Came From
Asad launched in 2021 and did well enough that Lattafa built out a whole family around it, Asad Bourbon, Asad Zanzibar, Asad Elixir, all riding on how well the original took off.
About Lattafa
Lattafa got its start in the 1980s in the UAE, founded by Sheikh Shahid Ahmad and Shoaib Iqbal. The name comes from the Arabic words for gentle and pleasant. What began as a small regional company has grown into something sold in well over 120 countries, still run by the same family three generations in, and it's become one of the biggest names behind the whole affordable dupe movement that's taken over fragrance TikTok.
