The Scent

Pink pepper and juniper open it with a cool violet edge, then the toffee arrives, laced with cinnamon and softened by lavender and sage, before settling into vanilla, amber, tonka and a suede finish. Warm, sweet and unmistakably modern, and the reason a whole shelf of clone-house bottles exists.

Worth Knowing

Two things get discussed constantly. Long-time wearers say a reformulation thinned out the toasted toffee that made the original famous, and separately a number of people report 2025 batches performing noticeably weaker than older stock. Neither is universal, and plenty of recent buyers report normal wear, but it is worth knowing before you commit to a full bottle. Trying a decant first is the cheapest way to find out which bottle you are getting.
