The Scent

A warm, smooth, aromatic classic that has aged really well. Citrus, bergamot, neroli, and mandarin open things up fresh, then lavender, sage, and pepper take over, settling into tobacco, tonka, and cedar. It's soft and a little powdery, more comforting than loud, and it reads clean and mature without feeling stuffy. A great pick for the office, daytime wear, or cooler weather. This is the genuine Dolce & Gabbana, not a dupe.

Worth Knowing

This version came out of a "return to the roots" relaunch, where Dolce & Gabbana revisited their very first fragrances from the early 90s and gave them a modern update rather than starting from scratch.

Where It Came From

D&G's fragrance line kicked off in 1992 with their debut women's scent, and the original men's Pour Homme followed in 1994. This 2012 version is a refreshed take on that same name, built to feel current while keeping the classic aromatic fougere character that made the original a favorite.
