The 8 Bujairami Louis Vuitton Clones We Stock, Ranked

Louis Vuitton doesn't sell samples, and doesn't sell decants. The smallest thing it sells is a travel spray with refill cartridges, and that's still a full Louis Vuitton purchase. If you want to try Imagination or Symphony for under ten dollars before committing to a bottle, you're not doing it through Louis Vuitton. Bujairami closes that gap: an Australian house that rebuilds designer and niche icons as extraits, including a run of Louis Vuitton takes. We stock eight of them, and no other Canadian decant shop we've checked carries any.

Why Bujairami, and why extrait matters

Every Bujairami in this set is built as an Extrait de Parfum: a higher concentration of fragrance oil to alcohol, which means more projection and longer wear on skin. Six of the eight Louis Vuitton originals are not extraits, so those six Bujairami takes run at a higher concentration than the fragrances they're built on. The two exceptions are Symphony and Cosmic Cloud: Louis Vuitton sells both as extraits in its Les Extraits Collection, so on paper Psycho and Cosmic Fever meet their originals at the same concentration class rather than above it. Either way, don't expect an identical experience side by side.

How we ranked these

We ranked the eight by two things: how well received each one is against the fragrance it's built on, drawn from the same "Generally" line we publish on every decant listing, and how versatile it is day to day. This isn't a customer poll, it's our own catalog notes, sourced the same way we source every listing on this site. Five of the eight carry our stronger internal reception notes. The other three sit a notch lower in our notes, well liked rather than loved.

The ranking

1. Bujairami Drip, built on Louis Vuitton Afternoon Swim

Orange, mandarin, and bergamot, crisp and juicy rather than harsh. Wearers who have tried both call it the closest match to its original, with noticeably better staying power than the airy Afternoon Swim it's built on. Bujairami Drip, 2ml from $9.

2. Bujairami Hectic, built on Louis Vuitton Imagination

Bujairami's best known release, and the most talked about entry in this set. Citron, Calabrian bergamot, and Sicilian orange up top, then neroli, ginger, and cinnamon, settling into black tea, ambroxan, guaiac wood, and olibanum. Reviewers who have worn both put it around eighty to ninety percent of the original, with Hectic pushing the citrus harder up top. Worth knowing: Bujairami's published note list for Hectic matches Louis Vuitton's own published pyramid for Imagination almost exactly, which is normal for this end of the market. Houses here often print the original's notes rather than disclose their own formula. Judge it on skin, that's what the 2ml is for. Bujairami Hectic, 2ml from $9, also available at 30ml.

3. Bujairami Ocean Eyes, built on Louis Vuitton California Dream

Mandarin and pear open fresh, ambrette seed adds a soft musky texture, benzoin closes it warm. It's often the first recommendation people give when someone asks where to start with this line. Bujairami Ocean Eyes, 2ml from $9.

4. Bujairami Houdini, built on Louis Vuitton City of Stars

Lime, blood orange, mandarin, lemon, and bergamot up top, a tiare flower heart, then a powdery musk and sandalwood finish. Runs a touch more lemony than the original, and the extrait strength gives it real staying power for a fresh, citrus-forward scent. Bujairami Houdini, 2ml from $9.

5. Bujairami Non Stop, built on Louis Vuitton Pacific Chill

Orange and green lemon cooled by mint and blackcurrant, apricot and basil with may rose in the middle, fig, dates, moss, and ambergris at the base. Wearers call it a sweeter, punchier take on Pacific Chill with more projection than the original thanks to the extrait strength. Bujairami Non Stop, 2ml from $9.

6. Bujairami Cosmic Fever, built on Louis Vuitton Cosmic Cloud

The softest and most floral entry in the set: blackcurrant, citrus, and violet leaf, a powdery heart of mimosa, peony, and violet, settling on musk, sandalwood, cashmeran, and tonka. A gentler pick if the rest of the line reads too citrus-forward for you. Bujairami Cosmic Fever, 2ml from $9.

7. Bujairami Next Level, built on Louis Vuitton L'Immensite

Grapefruit and bergamot with a ginger kick, rosemary and sage through the middle, ambroxan, amber, and labdanum at the base. One of the earliest releases in Bujairami's catalog, and it's still considered one of the closer takes on L'Immensite's fresh, ambery style. Bujairami Next Level, 2ml from $9.

8. Bujairami Psycho, built on Louis Vuitton Symphony

Tart grapefruit, bergamot, orange, and ginger over a clean musk, soft wood, and amber base. Office-friendly and versatile, though it's the one entry here with real in-house competition: we also carry Khadlaj Island Dreams, a second take on Symphony from a completely different house. See our full Bujairami Psycho vs Khadlaj Island Dreams comparison if Symphony is the one you're chasing. Bujairami Psycho, 2ml from $9.

Try all eight before buying a bigger size

All eight ship as 2ml decants, and all eight are also in our Bujairami Louis Vuitton Clones Discovery Set, priced about 10% under buying the eight decants separately. If one wins you over, every scent in the set is available afterward as a larger individual decant. Orders over $55 ship free to Canadian provinces, $150 in the three territories, and Regina orders of $25 or more qualify for free hand delivery.

Frequently asked questions

Is Bujairami a real Louis Vuitton product?

No. Bujairami is an independent Australian fragrance house that builds its own interpretations of other brands' fragrances, including these eight from Louis Vuitton. They're sold and labeled under Bujairami's own name, not Louis Vuitton's, and Louis Vuitton has no affiliation with them.

Are the Bujairami extraits stronger than the Louis Vuitton originals?

For six of the eight, yes on paper: those originals aren't extraits, so the extrait format means more fragrance oil, more projection, and longer wear. Symphony and Cosmic Cloud are the exceptions. Louis Vuitton sells both as extraits in its Les Extraits Collection, so Psycho and Cosmic Fever match their originals' strength rather than beat it. In every case, expect a strong version of the scent, not an identical one.

Can I buy Louis Vuitton fragrance decants directly?

No. Louis Vuitton doesn't sell samples or authorize decanting of its fragrances, which is the gap houses like Bujairami exist to fill with their own formulations.

Which Bujairami should I try first?

Ocean Eyes and Drip are the easiest starting points if you want something bright and citrus-forward. Hectic is the one that gets the most attention in this set. If you're not sure, the 8 x 2ml discovery set is the cheapest way to try all of them at once.

Does Atelier Elemental carry any actual Louis Vuitton fragrances?

No, we don't decant authentic Louis Vuitton bottles. These eight Bujairami extraits are independent formulations compared to Louis Vuitton fragrances, not decants of the originals.

Atelier Elemental is an independent decanting service. All trademarks are the property of their respective owners; brand names are used only to identify the authentic products we decant or compare.
