Giardini di Toscana

Giardini di Toscana

  • Roots trace back to 1942, when Giovan Piero and Emma Ducci opened a small pharmacy and perfumery in Bibbiena, a medieval village in Tuscany
  • Giovan Piero's original handwritten formula book has been preserved and is still used today
  • Passed down through three generations, now led by his granddaughter, Silvia Martinelli, who serves as creative director and in-house perfumer
  • Combines her grandfather's traditional recipes with modern, artistic perfumery
  • Uses largely recycled materials in its packaging and supports reforestation projects
  • Known for Bianco Latte, its bestselling gourmand fragrance built around milk, honey, and vanilla

Giardini di Toscana has real roots, starting in 1942 as a small pharmacy and perfumery in a Tuscan village. That family history has been carried forward literally, through an original formula book handed down across three generations, now developed further by Silvia Martinelli, the founder's granddaughter.

The house is best known for warm, gourmand fragrances, Bianco Latte especially, which blends milk, honey, and vanilla into something soft and comforting rather than sweet for its own sake. It's a good pick if you want a fragrance with a genuine sense of place and family history behind it.
