Known for Aqva, Omnia, and the Le Gemme collection, with bottle designs that draw directly on the house's jewelry-making heritage
Bvlgari's fragrance line grew out of a much older jewelry house, founded in Rome in 1884, and that background shows in the way its perfumes are presented, with bottle designs that echo the shapes and craftsmanship of its jewelry work. The house entered fragrance relatively late, in 1992, but made an immediate mark with Eau Parfumée au Thé Vert, a genuinely original composition built around green tea.
Today the house is best known for Aqva, a clean, mineral-marine line, alongside the Omnia collection and the more elevated Le Gemme range. It's a good pick if you want a fragrance from a house with real design pedigree behind the bottle as well as the scent.
