The Scent

Saffron opens it warm, spicy and a little leathery, then a syrupy red rose and a creamy, smoky oud take over together. The drydown is where it earns its reputation: praline and vanilla turning almost chocolate-like, dense and sweet without ever being a straightforward gourmand. It reads unmistakably Middle Eastern and unmistakably rich.

Worth Knowing

Fragrance communities have compared this to Lancôme's several-times-the-price Oud Bouquet for years, with plenty of wearers calling the two nearly identical and some preferring this one. And the performance stories are real: wearers routinely report ten hours and up on skin and a day or more on clothing. It is loud, very sweet, and polarizing enough that we would call it the definition of a try-before-you-buy: a 2ml tells you everything.
