Rasasi was founded in Dubai in 1979 by the late Haji Abdul Razzaque Kalsekar, who opened a small perfume shop in Murshid Bazar with a simple but different idea: rather than just importing European scents like everyone else, he wanted to celebrate the Gulf's own rich perfume traditions.
