The Scent
Ani X takes the beloved Ani formula (sparkling ginger-lemon over a plush vanilla-ambergris base) and turns everything up. The opening is brighter and busier (melon, cardamom, pink pepper join the citrus), the heart adds green apple and blackcurrant snap, and the drydown lands on the same creamy vanilla-sandalwood bed that made the original famous, now deeper and longer-lasting.
Worth Knowing
It's composed by Cécile Zarokian, the perfumer behind the original Ani. This isn't a licensed reinterpretation, it's the same hand amplifying her own work. Extrait concentration means a little goes a long way.
Where It Came From
Released in 2023 as the "X" edition of Ani (2019), the fragrance that put Nishane on many people's shelves.
About Nishane
Nishane was founded in Istanbul in 2012 by Mert Güzel and Murat Katran, the first niche perfume house from Turkey. Known for bold extrait-strength compositions like Hacivat and Ani, the house has become a fixture of modern niche perfumery.
