The Scent

Mint and ginger open it green and cool, then a creamy salted coconut and green fig accord takes over and does not really let go, softening into tonka and sandalwood. Most people land on the same description without prompting: a beach holiday.

Worth Knowing

It is sweet, and whether that is a feature depends entirely on you. The coconut is closer to suntan lotion than to dessert, which is why it splits opinion even among people who like gourmands. It is also one of the most heavily cloned releases of the last two years, though the community has never settled on which clone is closest.

Where It Came From

Released in 2024 as part of the Le Beau line, alongside a women's companion called La Belle Paradise Garden. It is a different fragrance from Le Beau and Le Beau Le Parfum, which are easy to confuse by name alone.

About Jean Paul Gaultier
