The Scent

Elixir is the dense one. Nutmeg, cinnamon and cardamom hit first over a flash of grapefruit, lavender sits in the middle, and the base is licorice, sandalwood, amber, patchouli and Haitian vetiver. It projects hard and lasts, and it reads far less like the original Sauvage than the EDP does. If the Eau de Toilette is the office bottle, this is the one for cold nights.

Worth Knowing

Licorice is what most people notice and either love or reject outright. Try it before you commit to a bottle, which is exactly what a 2 ml is for.
