It came out in 2022 from Maison Alhambra, the premium label under Lattafa Perfumes, and our listing pegs the character as soft leather, more suede jacket than biker boot, with a little cardamom up top and a warm, earthy finish. Well liked and a popular pick in its price range. Also an EDP, also unisex, and it wears day or night, best in the cooler months. No perfumer disclosed.

So how close is it, really?
Close. Our Tom Ford listing says it flat out: the clone market treats this composition as a reference, and Opulence Leather "copies the pyramid note for note, cardamom over leather and jasmine sambac over amber, moss, and patchouli." The dupe's own page agrees from the other side, the community "widely treats it as a very close, far cheaper take on Tom Ford Ombre Leather," "near identical in the dry down." Top and middle notes are listed identically on both product pages, and the base is the same three notes in a different order. That's about as matched as our catalog gets.
The gaps our own data actually shows are small, but they're there. The main accords don't line up perfectly: Spicy on the original, Woody on the dupe. Tom Ford names its perfumer, Sonia Constant; Maison Alhambra doesn't. The original came first by four years, 2018 against 2022. And on wear time, only the original's listing makes a claim... those eight-plus hours with strong early projection.
