Bujairami vs Lattafa: Which Clone House Should You Trust

Both names come up constantly in the same conversations. Lattafa is a UAE house; Bujairami is an Australian house with a Gulf storefront presence. Both build fragrances that lean on well-known references, but they're not doing the same job, and treating them as interchangeable is the mistake.

What Bujairami actually is

The Bujairami lineup we stock does one thing: every release rebuilds a specific Louis Vuitton fragrance as an extrait-strength perfume, sold under Bujairami's own name for it. We stock all 8, every one an Extrait de Parfum, every one $9 for a 2ml decant regardless of what it's chasing. Every one of the eight carries a formal Clone Of tag in our system pointing at its Louis Vuitton target. Bujairami's wider catalog includes other lines too; this Louis Vuitton set is what we carry.

What Lattafa actually is

Lattafa is a much bigger operation, and its own catalog is a mix, not a single lane. Of the 8 core scents we stock, 5 carry a Clone Of tag pointing at a specific designer or niche release (Dior Sauvage Elixir, Creed Aventus, Initio Oud for Greatness, Kilian Angels' Share, Giardini di Toscana Bianco Latte), and 3 carry no Clone Of tag and sell as Lattafa's own compositions. None of those three is reference-free, though. Yara's listing calls it an original composition, and our notes on it still point at Van Cleef & Arpels Orchidée Vanille as a comparison; our notes on Al Nashama Caprice and Khamrah Qahwa name loose reference points (YSL La Nuit de L'Homme Bleu Électrique and Kilian Angels' Share) as Lattafa's own interpretations, not tight matches. Khamrah itself, Lattafa's biggest hit, does get compared to Kilian Angels' Share, but the fragrance community and our own notes describe it as inspired rather than identical, it swaps in dates and praline instead of a straight cognac accord. Concentration is EDP across the board, and 2ml prices range from $6 to $9 rather than Bujairami's flat $9.

The real difference

Lattafa is broad: a mix of named comparisons and its own compositions, a wider price spread, and at least one release, Khamrah, that's become a real word-of-mouth hit in its own right rather than just riding a designer name. Chasing one specific Louis Vuitton release? Start with Bujairami: we carry one for all eight. Two of the eight have a second option on our shelf. Rayhaan Pacific Aura takes on Pacific Chill at $8, an EDP rather than an extrait, so it's a dollar under Non Stop at a lower stated concentration. Every Bujairami release we carry is an Extrait de Parfum, a higher concentration than most of what Louis Vuitton itself sells in these lines. Both openly build fragrances in the territory of other releases, and both also sell under their own brand names rather than pretending to be something else. In our catalog, every Bujairami we stock carries a Clone Of tag naming its reference point; the Lattafa lineup mixes named comparisons with Lattafa's own compositions.

Which is a closer match to the fragrance it's built on?

It varies by individual scent, not by house. Some Bujairami releases are described in our own notes as very close to their Louis Vuitton reference, and some Lattafa releases are described as inspired rather than identical. Check the individual product page rather than assuming the house name settles it.

Why is Bujairami more expensive per 2ml than most Lattafa scents?

Bujairami labels these Extrait de Parfum, a stronger concentration than the Eau de Parfum all 8 of these Lattafa scents are labelled at. Concentration labels at this end of the market are the brand's own, never a measured figure, so read it as a stated difference in formulation rather than a proven one. The way to settle it is your own skin, which is the whole reason to buy a 2ml first.

Do any of these overlap, both houses chasing the same fragrance?
