Rasasi launched the original Hawas in 2015. The flankers followed: Ice in 2023, Black in 2024, Kobra in 2025, Highness in 2026. Each one we carry gets compared to a specific big name. Black goes after Nishane Hacivat, Ice is a loose riff on Paco Rabanne Invictus Aqua, Kobra gets lined up against Louis Vuitton Imagination, and Highness is a twist on Sospiro Vibrato. We decant all four from 2ml, and all four live in the Rasasi collection. If you've only smelled one of these, the other three might surprise you.

Hawas Black: the one that gets mistaken for Hacivat
Wearers get stopped and asked if they have Nishane Hacivat on. That's the whole appeal of Hawas Black, the dark, intense turn in the Hawas line: pineapple over oakmoss. Some people catch Afnan Supremacy NOI in it too, though Black runs darker and moodier. It projects hard and wears very long, so on a cool evening a light hand goes a long way.
Hawas Ice: cold fruit for hot days
$9.00 for 2ml is a cheap way to settle the cardamom question. Hawas Ice opens like a cold fruit sorbet, apple and Italian lemon, and the cardamom is the divisive part: some wearers find it crisp and addictive, others enjoy it for a different reason entirely. Rasasi's loose, fruity spin on Paco Rabanne Invictus Aqua.
Hawas Kobra vs Louis Vuitton Imagination
Hawas Kobra is the one the fragrance community and retailers openly position as an Imagination alternative, and the overlap is real: both run bergamot, ginger, cinnamon, and neroli. The split is the tea. Imagination is built on Chinese black tea and stays airy and transparent; Kobra swaps in green tea, reads fresher and greener, then dries down warmer and muskier as the heavier of the two. An interpretation, not a note-for-note copy... and a strong performer, best in fall and winter.
Hawas Highness: the new one
Hawas Highness is the Sospiro Vibrato twist: citrus-forward and warm, with a cedar edge, and versatile enough to wear most of the year. Nobody has enough time on it yet to call it, us included.
Which one to start with: Black, Ice, Kobra or Highness
Start with Ice if you want something for warm weather and daytime. It's the hot-day one, an icy fruity-spicy build off the Invictus Aqua playbook. After that it depends what's missing from your shelf.
Black is the evening pick, close enough to Hacivat that reviewers swap the two names freely. Kobra is Imagination's lane and wants cold weather. Highness goes anywhere, a Tuesday or a night out, spring through fall. All four are $9.00 for 2ml, so the whole lineup is $36.
Try before you blind buy
Order a 2ml of each and wear them on different days. Skin chemistry changes how a fragrance reads, and the winner on paper isn't always the winner on you. We pour all four in 2ml, 5ml, and 10ml. Our discovery sets bundle a comparison like this into one order instead of four separate ones.
Frequently asked questions
Is Hawas Black just Hacivat?
No. Our listing calls it a copy of Nishane Hacivat, and it lands close enough that wearers get asked if they have Hacivat on, but a copy is still its own fragrance. Smell them side by side before you swap one for the other.
Is Hawas Highness a clone?
Yes. Our catalog tags it Clone Of: Sospiro Vibrato, a 2022 release composed by Christian Provenzano. Sospiro is Xerjoff's sister house: Sergio Momo founded it in 2011, four years after he started Xerjoff in Turin. Read Highness as a twist on Vibrato's citrus-and-ginger shape. We decant Vibrato too, if you want the original on the other wrist.
I already own Hawas Ice. What next?
Black is the opposite end: dark, evenings, cool weather. Kobra keeps you in fresh territory but adds ginger and cinnamon. Both come in 2ml, 5ml, and 10ml, same as Ice.

About Rasasi
Dubai, 1979. The late Haji Abdul Razzaque Kalsekar opened a small perfume shop in Murshid Bazar with a different idea than his neighbours: he wanted to celebrate the Gulf's own perfume traditions rather than only import European scents like everyone else. His six sons carried the business forward, and today Rasasi runs over 165 stores across the GCC, sells in more than 60 countries, and is widely considered one of the UAE's leading fragrance houses.
