Rasasi was founded in Dubai in 1979 by the late Haji Abdul Razzaque Kalsekar, who opened a small perfume shop in Murshid Bazar with a simple but different idea: rather than just importing European scents like everyone else, he wanted to celebrate the Gulf's own rich perfume traditions. His six sons carried the business forward from there, and today Rasasi runs over 165 stores across the GCC and sells in more than 60 countries. It's widely considered one of the UAE's leading fragrance houses.
